If you’re looking for a new phone, your options are pretty good right now, but it’s always the way that as soon as you jump into the water and get better, something better appears and you regret your decision. In this article we describe the phones that will be launched in 2018 to help you decide whether you want to wait or not.
Apple iPhone 11
OK, then we do not know what it will be called. iPhone 11? XS? X Plus? 9? Whatever you call it, you probably want one.
Rumors suggest that the design of the iPhone X could have two sizes, mini and Plus, with updates for the internal parts of the same X. Others suggest that there may be cheaper alternatives that retain the design.
Anyway, wait for more than one iPhone in September. Apple had to overtake the iPhone X and does not want to do it again. Probably with an A12 processor, better battery technology, iOS 12 and faster charging, this is the best iPhone. Again.
Google Pixel 3
Three new Google Pixel phones are expected to land on October 4, 2018, with a potential positioned as the rival of the iPhone X.
Codename Crosshatch, Albacore and Blueline, we know that these new pure Android phones will run the Android 9.0 P to be announced, and that they probably carry the Snapdragon 845 7nm processor and have panels FOLDED 18: 9.
Okay, let’s face it, we’re not quite convinced that there ever is a Snapchat smartphone, let alone that it will be a reality in 2018. We think it’s more likely that the company is working on a connected camera, But There is definitely a Snapchat phone.
If a Snapchat smartphone becomes a reality, this is probably the best phone for selfies and perhaps the first phone with a 360 degree camera.
Microsoft Surface Phone
The Microsoft Surface Phone has been a source of rumors for more than two years, and only a few months ago we thought that all hope faded with the news that Microsoft was killing Windows Phone.
But the company has applied for new patents for a foldable mobile device, which generates rumors about the possibility of a Surface Phone. It is perhaps only one that makes it impossible to estimate the release date. But if the Surface Phone finally sees the light of day, we could see a foldable phablet competing with the Galaxy Note X.
The first Nokia phone with Android was announced a year ago and the successor (the Nokia 6 2018) was announced on January 5. But we are still waiting for an announcement about the Nokia 9, the flagship in the company’s lineup. It is rumored that the great revelation could arrive on Sunday, February 25 at the MWC.
The Nokia 9 was considered an updated version of the Nokia 8 with a larger screen of 5.7 inches 18: 9 and an additional 2 GB of RAM, but the latest filtered images show a standard 16: 9 screen.
We should see a dual camera, possibly 13Mp with separate RGB and monochromatic sensors. A 13M selfie camera can also be found in the front. This is the configuration that can be seen in the Nokia 8, which also presents photos of Bothie: snaps that combine images of the front and back of the camera to create a more complete image.
Another novelty in the Nokia 8 is the recording of audio OZO of 360 degrees, that we know that you will find in the Nokia 9.
The Nokia 9 is considered the flagship of Nokia’s Android phone family and, as such, will probably use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 10nn with Adreno 540 GPU, plus 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
There have been new rumors in a new Nokia flagship, although they can be described as “incomplete”.
A Nokia 10 could be launched at IFA 2018 (from August 31) with a main camera with five lenses and the Snapdragon 845 in it.
More recently, the Surface Phone received a tip of 8 GB of RAM, 512 GB of internal memory, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 21 MP rear camera and a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen.
