Does your business need a android app Build?

By | July 4, 2017

apples-futureThe abundance of personal mobile devices has changed consumer expectations about access to information. We hope to find more information about the products always and everywhere. And we are so likely to get that information from some sort of social network like we go straight to a company’s website. This is a challenge for companies used to control the flow of information about their products, but also a chance. So your business need a android app Build.
I was a panelist during the Friday what’s Next, sponsored by the Bangor Daily News, on the same question. Companies want to know if they need a mobile application to reach their customers, or if a website optimized for mobile (sensitive) is an adequate starting point. And they want to know what it’s going to cost.

The first question is quite simple. Keynote Speaker Chris Brogan advised that if people do nothing else, be sure that your website is responding to it, it is a pleasure in mobile customers to search for everything. Brogan went on to say that the home page of these websites, regardless of the screen displayed, needed to promote a clear action. A button to watch a video or push a convincing demonstration of the value of the product.
The second question is more difficult. The answer, as the keynote speaker pm Marcus Sheridan explained in the unlikely frame of the sale of swimming pool fiberglass, is: “It depends.” Sheridan made a big point, however, to explain what it depends on is crucial.

With that advice in mind, I try to determine how they will judge the possible application of your business and make it a viable plan you can afford.
So what can an application make for your business? Even determining the question starts with how you think about what you do with your business. Unlike the app stores, whose applications are their “product” applications, a company is more likely to “extensions” their products more efficiently to deliver goods and services available.
This begins to achieve 101 application of thought: the execution is the visible evidence of certain data and / or content. It is one of the many front-ends possible information about the “back-end”. So the starting point of the discussion is not “need an application?” But “What I want to show, transform and / or retrieve data from a mobile device?”

So we started with a strategic concept, something great image that we can do to achieve our business goals. But before our cake rises too high in the sky, we need to consider where the data comes from our application. Data, in most companies, is under the responsibility of the IT department, and this is true, in companies of any size, we meet our first path. (If you are a sole proprietor, talk between you!)
The mission of the IT department is to maintain and store computer systems and networks, and protect your data. Most IT departments are good inertia nature because failure means data loss, productivity and final money. But the mood that makes solid technology infrastructure is radically different from the entropic mindset needed to make applications.

You must know It is the format in which relevant business data and media are stored to open it. This could mean internal SharePoint services or databases. Open Directory or third-party data stores such as SalesForce or DropBox. I really do not want to hear that your content is embedded in one or more outdated and own formats collected by dozens of mergers and acquisitions.
OK, you know where the information lives, now, can you find someone in your organization with the necessary skills to compile an application? Here is the second stage. Everyone can learn how to create certain types of applications, but how do you know if it is the right type of application? This is where external advisors come.
The big advantage that an outsider (I played the role for most of my career) is that you have a wider perspective of your customers. Because consultants are in and out of many companies, regular forms of dominance of wisdom can hardly be found among the staff of a company. It’s like the sophistication that comes from an extended trip (although the food is often not so good!)

If the consultants are honest – and listen to them – they can do a reality check on the originality of your idea of application and value the existing data to support it. They are probably familiar with the range of application deployments in your industry and the types of third-party data that your competitors can use.
What types of advisors you are looking for, has a lot to do with what kind of application you think and what your internal resources and budgets are. (Note, “it depends!”) It’s tempting to think that you can go directly to a designer who can show you how you look, but probably jump the gun.
Between a goal and finding the data to support it, and launching a successful, effective application, there is an important tactical step that can be overlooked. Its application not only the necessary data, it needs the specific data bits, transformed into specific formats and updated with some frequency. Once you have specified these formatting bits, a user experience specialist can find out how your customers the information you want, they can optimally metabolize and a UI designer can find the resulting screens and their functions intuitively.
This specification process should not be overlooked, but it is important to note that all these functions are quite liquid. In smaller projects with smaller budgets, many of these functions are performed by the same person. Large app stores can afford to keep a large number of specialists and implement them as subcontractors in a high-end residential renovation.
Depending on how flexible business processes, all steps are carried out sequentially or in parallel, but the point of vital importance is that some way must occur. The missing tactical step I mentioned earlier is often called a “content model”. This is often the work of content strategists, but it is not strategic.
The content model is really the form of what will be the database for your application. Even before you decide which elements could go on any screen, you should at least describe the universe of data you have available to the application. If you are an application from now on the brand, it only serves to determine what types of data you want to collect in any format. You will receive a back-end developer to build for you, or better yet, the best software as a service (SaaS) to find a solution for your needs. Some good back-end sources to see your Kinvey, Contentful and individually.
This distinction between the building and the curator defines a difference between programmers and developers. If you bring your problem to a programmer, you will be quoted a price for its construction. If you have the same problem leading to a developer, you probably have a few components ready to find 90% of doing the job and then small amounts of code you write to stab them together. Suffice it to say that modern developers have the ability to do things much faster and cheaper than old school programs. If what you are doing is really changed, it is often more efficient to build from now on, or at least in the major software libraries, the details of which will shine your glasses.
Before you begin by congratulating yourself on finding a good developer, it is important to consider “scope corruption”. I have never worked on a digital project that did not seem to have more pages, functions or headache then as long as the client. So if you are the client, do your best to be specific about what you want, but book a portion of your budget for unwanted and unexpected. That you need it.

It is also important to consider how the custom of their needs really is, especially in the beginning. There are a number of platforms for powerful applications like Appery.io, App Builder and Codiqa that require a lot of work ready for production to create applications. The downside is that your application seems quite generic and is limited by the platform features. Appery has very impressive plugins that connect your application to “pre-packaged API REST services and data link pages that add powerful functionality to your request directly” Sales force, ESPN, Aetna, AT & T and more. Bulider app is compatible with most traditional enterprise infrastructure and can be integrated with Microsoft SharePoint and Active Directory for mobile applications that meet their security policies, management tools, mobile devices and procedures. ” Both platforms have plans to start, so there is no risk of trying. Codiqa is less focused on consuming APIs that allow designers to quickly write prototype solutions with drag and drop components (and prepared for production) for you. It has a free 15-day trial, but not a permanent free level. (See message Cohen’s Reuvan Constructor application here.)
Part of the magic, and limitation of these platforms is the production of hybrid applications. Unlike native iOS and Android applications (written in Objective C and Java, respectively), hybrid web applications using HTML5 code CSS and Javascript for the design and functionality standard, This internet browser code, which can also feed a web application or website, can be “packaged” in native and packaged code for app storage like a native application. Hybrid applications do not have access to all the features of the device and often not as effective as native applications. But depending on what you’re trying to achieve, these limitations can not really be true.
One of the major benefits of hybrids is that not only the same code can be used for iOS and Android (and even Windows or Blackberry, if necessary), but are also much easier to upgrade and experience.
Even if you decide to go with a “constructor” platform, you still need to involve people who know what they’re doing. In particular, you need a project manager who can keep the process running and make sure everyone has what they need and understand what to do. The project manager and developer or designer mainly engages in or not experience in content strategy, backend android app  development, user experience, user interface, front end development or performance engineering. All these are important, but again, some of your team can use multiple hats and / or software that use some of these problems addresses.
Another important consideration is the need to maintain and improve these products, once activated, ultimately. Applications are in many ways more processes things. The most successful applications (Instagram, of course, will be taken care of) are the product of continuous exploration and improvement. So you have to think about what you do more like “digital engagement” than just making the application. If you recommend “Master of Digital Channel” like Chris Brogan, you are in a lot of trial and error, disastrous failure and humility. His first idea can be wrong. Your first thought is likely to be wrong! Your data may not be what you want. Users can not work together as expected. You may need to take care of your customers about what they are trying to do.

Remember, people are not clamoring for the other icon on their home screens. To create an application that makes it important, it must be important to your customers, giving them something they can not get elsewhere, Lastly, native or hybrid, customs or cookie cutter, which is where the moment of truth, where it provides something of value. How this value translates into an increase in sales is a totally different matter. But as Marcus Sheridan showed his customers fiberglass poles, customers must have absorbed most of their content in the product (at least 30 and in some cases more than 100 individual web pages!), Customers Which would be to make a purchase.

Applications allow you to present your products and solutions to your customers’ problems even if it is only suggested that you are a master in the field of that problem. The one thing you clearly do not want to do on the digital channel is short selling. Nothing, except perhaps slow performance, a user will leave an application and never come back the feeling that they are sold aggressively, more effective android app builder applications that feel like gifts that lights up a handy way of remembering the giver.
